The average life expectancy is 76 years old, so how many years have you got left? For me its 52 years! (76-24). Now let’s work out how many days I have left. 52 x 365= 18,980. However, we spend 1/3 of our life sleeping so let’s disregard that number. So 18,980-6327=12,653. For me, I only have 12,653 days left to live, which I’m awake. Not a vast amount of time if you work out the statistics. How many days have you got left on average?
If this is not enough motivation to get out of bed every morning and motivate you to make the most of your day, then I don’t know what is! Don’t let fear get in the way of anything you aspire to be or do! When I spent eight months travelling, it made me appreciate what life has to offer, and I realised the majority of us are just following society by being stuck in the same routine day by day. If you’re reading this, let this be the day you make a change!
What’s your main priority or goal at this moment? This will shift as life goes on. It may be business, career, family or travelling etc. Last year for me it was to travel and experience different cultures and enjoy myself after a difficult year with my studies, work and personal life! However, this year my main goals are to build a community and positively impact on as many lives as possible, which is the reason why I set up the Athletic Development Club. Another big goal of mine is to kickstart my fitness modelling career (personal goal) hence why I’ll be competing at the Miami Pro Fitness Model competition in 7 weeks to prove to myself and others anything is possible if you work hard and are willing to make sacrifices.
So what is your main goal right now?
Please write it down so you can look at it and visualise it every day. Drill down to the emotional aspect why is this a big goal of yours? And how would you feel if you reach that goal in 3, 6, 12 months?
If you would like to help with goal setting, send me an email, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
This is my first blog post and would appreciate it if you like and share it. I will be blogging consistently now regarding motivation, goal setting, training and nutrition to help YOU live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life!
